Thanks for informative video. When I read about CP I often read about the link between pain due to high tone/spasm. But when I search for studies, I can not find any studie which proves the link between increased pain due to spasm/high tone With CP. Do you know of any study like that? Doctors use Botox in the muscle to decrease pain and tone so there has to be some evidence somewhere?

My sister has spastic and athetoid cerebral palsy as she was starved of oxygen and she now has a severe disability and I hate it when people stare at her and discriminate her it makes me so sad because I can't do anything about it because I can't control people and I love my sister and I want to protect her, do you have any tips for that?

I have a mild form of Cerebral Palsy (plus an eye condition), but I feel very fortunate because things could've turned out much worse, and probably would've driven my poor mom crazy. She used to worry a lot while I was growing up as it was. Now she wonders why she worried so much. Kudos to the mom in this video!

My daughter is 6 - she has not got cerebral palsy (It might have been easier to have a diagnosis) but she is classed as severely global developmentaly delayed. She has epilepsy too. She is hypotonic but thankfully she CAN hold her head up, although she headbangs every second she is awake! She cannot sit or stand or talk. I also feel I have a 6 week old baby. It is tough and I wish there was something like this for people who still have no diagnosis. I have 7children. ---you tube-Shaniebellebenn
